100 Great Children's Books

This list was put together by children's librarians at the NY Public Library as part of a current exhibit, The ABC of It: Why Children's Books Matter.  We have many of these books in our media center.  If you find one you would like for your child to check out, feel free to send us a note or an e-mail and we will help your child with making that selection.
